We make our own store signage and we wanted to promote our own custom sticker service better. Since we have a plotter and materials right here in the store we can go from “Hey maybe we should show this better” to the actual sticker in no-time. This actually took about an hour in total from conception.
The image of having it look like a little peel-away corner popped into my mind right away. It obscures very little from the rest of the window (you want to maximize window space for products) and visually represents what it actually is.

It took some time in the freezing cold, but we finally have a gorilla chucking barrels on our storewindow ^^. All done with our new stickermaking machine. Why Donkey Kong? Because 8-bit art is awesome, that’s why!
(are you a designer or artist? One of our store windows is free for (bi-)monthly exposition. You can show a project of yours or do something cool with the window. Come in and tell me your idea!)

Check out the glas door of my fitting room. It changes from transparant to frosted when you press the big red button. I’m pretty confident in saying I’ve probably got the coolest fitting room in the country. ^^
Holy Snaps! the wall painting took a lot of work. Took almost 3 full days to finish the back wall. Still need to do the side walls but there are a lot less lines there. Special thanks to my dad for helping me out. I’ll upload a timelapse video later.
"Working hard or hardly working guys?" Har har har… no, I didn’t actually say that. I’d have to commit seppuku to wash off the shame.
The walls are progressing nicely, but I got news that the facade is delayed…. AGAIN! ugh, it feels like I have to go on a mad shuffle every other day to change all the **** plans. Anyways if there’s not another disaster it looks like I can open maybe 18th of June.
